A new study could make some people think twice before having cosmetic surgery.

Researchers found that procedures such as face lifts, brow lifts, or eyelid surgery really don’t make people that much more attractive.

The study also found that patients on average looked just three years younger.

The findings were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
