End in sight for Time Warner/CBS feud?

U.S. – Time Warner Cable’s CEO, Glenn Britt, has offered to end a four-day blackout of CBS in eight markets.

Britt offered to sell customers the network “a la carte” – an idea some viewed as risky in the cable industry.

CBS called the offer a “sham.”

The network and Time Warner are at odds over how much the cable operator has to pay for CBS programming.
