Man accused of sledgehammer death threat

Canandaigua, N.Y. - A man from Canandaigua is facing multiple charges after police say he threatened to kill a woman with a sledge hammer.
 
Jonathon Keeling, 37, is accused of holding the victim against her will by holding a knife to her throat.

He's also accused of holding a sledge hammer to her head and threatening to kill her.

The victim was able to run and lock herself in a bedroom and call 911.
 
That's when police say Keeling punched in the door.

The victim had minor injuries.

Keeling faces several charges including menacing, unlawful imprisonment and harassment.
