Study says fruits, vegetables could affect depression

Finland - Eating more fruits and vegetables could contribute to lowering a man's risk of severe depression.

A study from the University of Eastern Finland found that middle-aged men who ate foods rich in folic acid were less likely to become depressed.
 
Researchers say drinking more coffee also lowered patients' risk of depression.
 
Scientists want to do additional studies to confirm the findings.
