Murder charges for double-shooting suspect

Rochester, N.Y. - The man suspected in a double-shooting on Pullman Avenue this week is being charged with second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder.

Marcus Freeman, 26, was in court Friday morning. He was arrested Thursday afternoon and is accused of killing Walesy Alvarez, 27, and seriously wounding her boyfriend, Martin Moore.

Moore is in guarded condition.

On Friday, the judge issued an order of protection for Moore and another witness.

No bail has been set, with Freeman's next hearing scheduled for September 12.
