Wayne County man sold counterfeit "Sons of Anarchy" items

Buffalo, N.Y. A Wayne County man was sentenced Friday to five months in prison for selling counterfeit Sons of Anarchy paraphernalia.

United States Attorney William Hochul Junior said Ryan Breen, 33, of Savannah, ran multiple websites that sold counterfeit t-shirts and goods. Breen sold customized items displaying the Sons of Anarchy trademark without the permission of Twentieth Century Fox Entertainment Group.

Authorities said Breen was ordered to pay $5,394.15 to Fox, and was sentenced to five months in prison and five months home confinement.

Breens arrest is the result of a nationwide investigation that hopes to crackdown on intellectual property theft.
