Farmington man attacked officers

Macedon, N.Y. - A Farmington man was tasered following an altercation with police oustide Wal-Mart.

The Macedon Police Department said Anthony Marrero, 25, was charged with resising arrest and assault outside of the Macedon Wal-mart.

According to police, Marrero was walking outside of the store wearing a "Jason" mask, popularized by the Halloween films.

Police learned that Marrero was wanted in Ontario County for felony drug sales and attempted to arrest him. Police said Marrero became violent and had to be subdued with a taser.

A Macedon police officer suffered a leg injury and was treated at a local hospital. Marrero was sent to Waynce County Jail on $25,000 bond.
