Benefit for Patsy Hickman

Gates, N.Y. - A benefit will be held Sunday for the woman killed by a train last week.

Patsy Hickman, 52, was walking across the tracks on Colvin Street in Rochester when she was struck by a westbound train.

Hickman was familiar with the area, but was legally blind.

The benefit for Hickman's family will be held at Pineapple Jack's on Spencerport Road in Gates. The benefit will go from 2 to 10 p.m.

There will be live bands beginning around 5 p.m. and a "balloons to heaven" release at the end of the night.
