Fires, floods hitting across country

San Francisco -- Unusual weather hit parts of the country Monday morning.

Dozens of homes near the San Francisco Bay Area Wilderness Park were evacuated because of a wildfire that grew to about 800 acres.

Nearly 200 firefighters are trying to knock down the flames, but temperatures could hover close to 100 degrees Monday, complicating their efforts.

The fire is only ten percent contained.

Meanwhile, cleanup continues this morning in Utah, where a wall of muddy water and debris tore through homes this weekend.

Hundreds of volunteers are now trying to clear debris from the canal ahead of more heavy rain that is expected this week.
