Deputies: FLCC administrator changed grades, added courses
Canandaigua, N.Y. - A Finger Lakes Community College administrator was arrested Thursday on charges that she changed students' grades and transcripts for 13 years.
Nancy Purdy, 55, of Farmington, was charged with official misconduct and falsifying business records.
Deputies said Purdy served as the Assistant Vice President of Academic Initiatives. Between February 10, 2000 and February 28, 2013, she is alleged to have changed grades and added courses to several FLCC student transcripts without authorization.
Purdy was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Hopewell Town Court to answer the charges.
