Playground honors Webster first responders

Webster, N.Y. - It's hard to keep the construction of a playground secret, but the Town of Webster tried to keep the reason behind it hush-hush.

That was, until Sunday, when they unveiled what they were working on and why they worked so hard on it.

The First Responders Playground is dedicated to two first responders killed in the Christmas Eve ambush Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka.

The purpose here is to preserve their memory and promote the good work they did.

Members of Mike Chiapperini's family were there to help cut the ribbon.

A spray park will soon be added. It will have a firefighter theme.
