A 13WHAM Town Hall Event

Your Privacy, Your Security: A 13WHAM Town Hall Event

Rochester, N.Y. --- Have you ever wondered why the government stores information about your cell phone?

Have you ever received a ticket from a Red Light Camera in Rochester and wondered if this network of cameras was more about revenue than safety?

Have you ever seen news reports about how cameras helped catch crimes on tape and keep neighborhoods safer?

Have you ever considered setting up security cameras on your property?

These are some of the many questions and topics 13WHAM News will explore during a town hall event called: Your Privacy, Your Security.

The debate focuses on various topics impacting your liberty and safety, or more specifically Your Privacy, Your Security.

Joining 13WHAM News in this discussion is a panel of local voices who bring unique backgrounds and expertise to this conversation.  Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard will be joined by former U.S. Attorney Terrance Flynn, WHAM1180 talk show host Bob Lonsberry, and citizen Larry Krieger who is pursuing legal action against Rochester because of a red light ticket.

13WHAMs Your Privacy, Your Security Town Hall event will be held at the theater inside The Strongs National Museum of Play.  It will take place on Thursday October, 10th at 7 p.m.
