Arrest made in church burglary

Irondequoit, N.Y. - Two men from Rochester were arrested Thursday for allegedly robbing several apartments and a church in the Irondequoit area.

Irondequoit Police stopped Ryan Goetze, 18, and Jaymes Allen, 27, on Cooper Rd. after Goetze committed a violation and was taken into custody.

Police questioned both Goetze and Allen and learned both had been involved with recent burglaries at the Ivy Ridge Apartments on Hudson Ave. Officers said Goetze had also been involved in a burglary that occurred between September 13 & 17 at a church on Rogers Parkway.

Goetze and Allen were arrested and charged with burglary and petit larceny.

Both were arraigned and are scheduled to appear in court October 7.
