Cheney feared assassination

Washington - Former Vice President Dick Cheney took extra precautions while in office to avoid an assassination attempt.

On "60 Minutes" Cheney revealed that when he had a device implanted to regulate his heartbeat in 2007, he had his doctors disable its wireless capabilities to prevent a possible assassination attempt.

Cheney said he was concerned after reports that hackers could break into medical devices.
