Trial resumes in murder, dismembering case

Canandaigua, N.Y. - Testimony resumes Tuesday in the trial of an Ontario County woman accused of murdering her husband.

Rose Chase is accused of pushing her husband Adam down the stairs, then dismembering and burning his remains.

She maintains his death was an accident.

Prosecutors are expected to play Chase's videotaped interviews with police on Tuesday.

The defense could begin calling witnesses, though it remains unclear if Rose Chase will take the stand.

She faces life in prison if convicted of murder and evidence tampering charges.
