911 call leads to Seneca Falls drinking bust
Seneca Falls, N.Y. - Several people are facing charges stemming from an underage drinking party on August 31.
Seneca Falls Town Police responded to a 911 call from a person who claimed they had been assaulted at a house on Lake Rd. When police arrived at the house, officers found a large party going on with about 100-150 people. Several people ran away before police arrived.
Waterloo Police Department, NYS Park Police, NYS Troopers, and the Seneca County Sheriffs Office were called in to assist with the investigation. Another person claimed to have been assaulted as well.
Police interviewed several people over the last few weeks - including the victims of the assaults, who were uncooperative with police, and declined to have charges pressed.
The two people living at the house on Lake Rd., Dylan Seneca, 21, and Jessica Minguez, 19, invited as many as 200 people to attend the party - several of whom were underage.
A total of 16 people - all underage at the time of the party - were charged with underage possession of alcohol. Seneca and Minguez were charged with Possession of Alcohol While Under 21 Years of Age, endangering the Welfare of a Child, and violating the newly enforceable countywide Social Host Law."
Police said more arrests are pending.
