Study: six million out of school, out of work

U.S. - A new report found that nearly six million young people are out of school and out of work.

The study was conducted by a bipartisan coalition focusing on U.S. economic conditions

Researchers found that 15 percent of those ages 16 to 24 are not in school and they do not have jobs.

Researchers also found that the number of families living in poverty increased in nearly all states -- while the average household income fell in 45 states in 2012.
