Food at chain restaurants not getting healthier

The food at chain restaurants isn't getting any healthier.

A new study found the average chain restaurant entre in 2011 had 670 calories.

Thats no change from the year before.

When it comes to sodium levels, the average chain entre in 2011 had 1,500 milligrams a decrease of only 15 milligrams from 2010.

About 82-percent of U.S. adults eat out at least once per week.

The findings are published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Diabetes.
