Newly-named Kodak Center for the Performing Arts opens

Rochester, N.Y. - The former Kodak Theatre on the Ridge at Eastman Business Park has now become the Kodak Center for the Performing Arts.

The Rochester Association for the Performing Arts (RAPA) opened the center to the public Thursday.

Last August, Kodak announced it had reached an agreement with RAPA to assume the management and operation of Kodaks theater and related facilities at Eastman Business Park.

This is a dream come true for the Greater Rochester community, said James Vollertsen,
President and Chief Executive Officer of RAPA. We are well on our way toward converting this
marvelous facility into a multifunction entertainment, conference and education center for the community.

There is a complete list of scheduled events for 2014 at the new Kodak Center for the Performing Arts. You can find more information here.
