Former Naples man charged for breaking infant's leg

Naples, N.Y. - A former Naples man is charged with recklessly breaking the leg of a 10-month-old baby two years ago.

Charles Brownell, 36, is charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon, a .22 

State Police say during the original investigation, Brownell fled to Ohio where he has been living for the past two years.

When investigators learned of his whereabouts, he was brought back to New York and arrested.

Brownell has a previous felony conviction in Florida.
