RPD launching "Community Survey"

Rochester, N.Y.Starting Thursday evening, if you live in Rochester, dont be surprised if you get a phone call on behalf of the Rochester Police Department.

In hopes of better meeting the needs of the people living in Rochester, RPD is launching a Police Department Community Survey.

RPD has asked the Survey Research Institute (SRI) at Cornell University to call individual residents to get their input through the phone survey.

The phone calls start Thursday, and will last five to seven weeks. City residents, age 18 and over, will be targeted.

A full report of the Rochester Police Department Community Survey is expected to be completed by spring of 2014.
