Two performing in competition wounded outside bar

Rochester, N.Y. Police released the names of the two men shot outside of a bar on Chili Avenue around 2 a.m. Friday.

Rochester Police said Marcus Marcel Rivera, 21, and Joshua Breedlove, 20, were performing in a competition at Obsessions Bar when an argument broke out between two groups.

Security walked the two men out of the bar. Once they were outside, the police said the victims became involved in a physical altercation with the suspects and gunshots were fired.
Rivera and Breedlove were hit.

Both victims were taken to Strong Hospital and are expected to survive.

The crowd was dispersed and no one else was hurt.

Police are reviewing video to see what more they can learn.

There is no one in custody at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 423-9300. No one will ask your name and you could get a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
