Chili man accused of robbing gas station with machete

Henrietta, N.Y. - Monroe County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Chili man Tuesday in connection with a gas station robbery last month.

Deputies arrested Jacob Farrell, 28, and charged him with two counts of first degree robbery and two counts of petit larceny.

On October 26, Farrell allegedly displayed a machete at a Red Apple service station on West Henrietta Road near Jefferson Road. Deputies said Farrell stole beer and cash.

Farrell was remanded to the Monroe County Jain in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Deputies worked with the Brighton Police Department to make the arrest.
