Two armed robberies in two days in Genesee Co.

Genesee Co., NY -- The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating two armed robberies in two days.

The first happened just after 3:00 am on Thursday morning at the Best Western Crown Inn and Suite on Park Road. Deputies say the suspect showed a gun and demanded money. Deputies say he ran away, headed toward Park Road. A K9 track was followed into the City of Batavia, but was later lost.

Less than 24 hours later, the Sheriff's Office responded to another armed robbery call. They say this one happened at the 7-11 on South Main Street in Oakfield just after 2:00 am. The clerk was robbed at gunpoint, and the suspect ran away. That suspect, pictured above, was last seen running down Coe Avenue.

There were no injuries in either incident, but the investigations continue.
