Surfing while driving

U.S. -  More Americans are surfing the web while driving their vehicles, according to a State Farm survey.

The survey found that nearly half of drivers ages 18 to 29 said they went online while behind the wheel.

That's nearly twice as many as in 2009.

The survey also showed increases in the number of people who check email and read [or update] social media while driving.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says distracted drivers are 23 times more likely to crash.
