Two arrested in Albion drug investigation

Albion, N.Y. - Two Rochester men were arrested Friday after a month-long drug investigation in Orleans County.

The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force said it stopped a vehicle on S. Main St. in Albion and arrested Terry Holmes, 31, and Kamerin Burroughs, 23, with help from the Albion Police Department and Orleans County Sheriff's Department.

Police seized 40 bags of heroin and more than one-quarter ounce of crack cocaine.

Holmes and Burroughs were charged with several counts of drug sale and possession.

Holmes was already on parole with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.

Both were arraigned in Albion Town Court and remain in the Orleans County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing; further charges and arrests are pending.
