Dome Arena sale could happen soon

Henrietta, N.Y. After a day filled with talk of the Dome Arena sale falling through, Monday ended with hope of a deal revived.

Bob Colby, who is with the Monroe County Fair and Recreation Association, the non-profit that owns the Dome Arena in Henrietta, says the Rochester RazorSharks will like buy the Dome in the next day or two.

On Monday, the Rochester RazorSharks told 13WHAM the deal was in jeopardy because the fair association was considering a second bid.

Colby said that was untrue and claimed the association has met every obligation of the agreement.

Colby says lawyers from both sides met Monday to pull the deal back from the brink.

Those lawyers will meet again tomorrow to review the original purchase offer, according to Colby.

Colby says if the deal is not finalized by the end of the week, it will be by next week.
