Husky rescues climber after a fall breaks his back

Ouray Ice Park, Colo. - An Alaskan Husky named "Juno" is being praised for saving his owner's life after a skiing accident.

Leonard Summers went hiking on Colorado trails with his pup at his side when he fell into a ravine and hit his head on a tree stump. The impact broke his back.

Juno ran off for help and guided other skiers to his master.

A week and a surgery later, a very excited Juno was reunited with the man he helped save.

She knew that I needed help, Summers said. She dug me out of the snow and proceeded to lay on my legs and some of my body to keep me warmI love her so much for her help.

Doctors say Summers may not walk ever again, but he says he's grateful just to be alive.
