Election Hotline aims to ensure equal access

New York/Albany, N.Y.  - The idea is to make sure everyone can access the ballot box.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has opened an Election Day hotline to monitor any problems encountered at polling places including language access, civil rights problems, and any polling place barriers.

The number is 800-771-7755.

Another option is to email civil.rights@ag.ny.gov to report issues or problems.
