Bus driver charged with DWI in crash resigns

Macedon, N.Y. - A bus driver who was accused of driving drunk and causing a head-on crash has resigned.

The Wayne Central School District Board Of Education says Julynn Criscuolo submitted her resignation this week.

Macedon Police said Criscuolo was drunk at the time of the crash on Route 350 last week. Another woman was seriously injured.

Police also suspect Criscuolo may have been drunk hours earlier while driving her bus route.

A supervisor suspected Criscuolo was intoxicated and made her take a blood test.

State police are still investigating; more charges are expected.
