Genesee County man killed in car crash

Alden, N.Y. (AP) - The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two-car crash that killed a Genesee County man.

Deputies tell local media outlets that the crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. Saturday on Two Rod Road in the town of Alden, about 20 miles east of Buffalo. The victim's name hasn't been released, but he's described as a man in his 40s from Corfu in Genesee County.

The sheriff's office says the man lost control of his car on a curve and crossed into the path of an SUV driven by 46-year-old Lisa Kluck of West Seneca. She taken to Erie County Medical Center with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
