Last meeting before Irondequoit Library vote

Irondequoit, N.Y. - Wednesday night, Dec. 11, will be the last chance for people in Irondequoit to weigh in on a proposal to consolidate the town's libraries.

Under a proposal voters already approved, the two current libraries would close to make way for the new 40,000 square foot facility.

But after the vote, legal challenges led to a new vote which will take place Saturday.

The final public forum, including a question-and-answer session, starts at 7 p.m. at the Irondequoit Town Hall.
