Racing legend in coma after ski accident

Grenoble, France (AP) - Doctors said they cannot predict the outcome for Michael Schumacher, the retired Formula One driver who suffered a serious head injury in a ski accident Sunday.

The chief anesthesiologist at a hospital in Grenoble, France said the seven-time champion is still in a medically induced coma.

He said the medical team was not yet able to talk about outcomes; it's focusing only on his current condition.

Schumacher, 44, arrived at the hospital a day earlier already in a coma and immediately underwent brain surgery.

The doctors said he remains in critical condition.
