Woman charged for arson at East Main Street building
Rochester, N.Y. The Rochester Fire Department Arson Task Force charged Angela Brown, 50, of Rochester, with arson in the second degree on Saturday.
According to investigators, Brown is accused of lighting a fire in the hallway of a tenth floor apartment in the Cedarwood Towers building on East Main Street.
The fire cause damage to the hallway, but no residents were evacuated. One resident was treated for minor smoke related injuries, investigators said.
Arson Task Force investigators said that Brown was removed from the building following a fight with a resident, and returned later to set the fire.
