Wicked cold snap

Many people in the Western U.S. are waking up to a snowy commute and temperatures as low as 40 degrees below normal. Those are the conditions from California to the Rockies.

Wednesday morning, about two-dozen states have winter watches or advisories as some of the coldest air of the season moves in.

Drivers in Fort Collins, Colo., took it easy on the snow covered roads, while many in Minnesota spun out on the ice.

However, not everyone is upset by the weather.

I was like saying, 'Yea! school's out!', said Liberty Martin of Duluth, Minn. Its wicked, actually! Ive never seen it like this before.

The cold snap is expected to spread as far south as Texas by the weekend, before turning eastward.
