Gov. Web site handling 50,000 per day

Washington - This is the week that the Obama administration promised to have a more efficient, effective version of Web site healthcare.gov--up and running.

CNN reports that the website for the Affordable Care Act has made significant improvements since launching two months ago.

The site can now handle 50,000 users at the same time and 800,000 users in a single day.

The White House says there will likely be other bugs to work out, but for the most part, the site is now working as intended.
