Mayor wants to get back to business

Rochester, N.Y. - Mayor Lovely Warren says she wants to move on with the business of running the city.

Warren made those comments during an appearance on the Wease radio show Wednesday morning.

Warren said she won't comment anymore about the issues surrounding her security detail and the thruway traffic stop when she and her security team were stopped for speeding.

She also refused to address media reports that the SUV driven by her uncle and bodyguard Reggie Hill was stopped twice by state police last week. She said the Ethics Board will handle this investigation now.

I'm done with the thruway issue and the security detail. All the information has been submitted to the President of City Council and forwarded for review.

The seven member ethics board will investigate whether Warren's hiring of her uncle violated city ethics and civil service laws.

Warren said she needed security because of physical threats made against her.

She said the positions were temporary and will be posted to the public in two weeks.
