Furnace donated to family in need

Rochester, N.Y. A follow-up to our story last week about a Rochester woman who didn't have heat for two days then learned her furnace would have to be replaced.

It seemed one problem after another for Sandra Anderson, who also recently lost her brother.

A Good Samaritan in Rochester saw Anderson's story and decided he wanted to help, and donated a furnace to her on Monday.

"I feel like it's Christmas. I am so touched, said Anderson to the Good Samaritan. I want to thank you so much."

"I saw her story on the news and it was very heartfelt and I wanted to do something for this woman, said Clark Wentworth, Clarks Mechanical Contracting. I give away a furnace every year and it's good to give back to the community.

Wentworth said hes donated a furnace every year for 35 years.
