Greece crews battle fire and bitter cold weather

Greece, N.Y. - Fire crews in Greece battled the bitter cold along with smoke and flames Wednesday.

It took them 40 minutes to get a fire under control at an apartment complex on Grecian Gardens Drive.

Everyone got out safely.

One fire hydrant was frozen, but that didn't seem to impact the work of the crews.

Several apartments had smoke and fire damage.

Greece schools sent school buses to keep residents and firefighters warm.
