Chun killer gets life without parole

Rochester, N.Y. - Nearly a year after a well-known RIT professor Edline Chun was robbed and murdered, convicted killer Jerrell Henry has been sentenced to life without parole.

Henry's attorney said he would appeal.

Henrys girlfriend, Natalie Johnson, was sentenced to 25 years to life last month.

The two robbed Chun in her Hazelwood Terrace home last February before killing her and dumping her body in Tryon Park.

Tuesday, Judge Francis Affronti broke down during his statement, in which he called Henry a "callous" and "sadistic" monster.

Henry thanked his family for their support then told the judge he planned to appeal.

Chun's friends call the sentence closure, but not justice.
