Rochester man stabbed on Monroe Avenue

Rochester, N.Y.- Rochester Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on Monroe Avenue early Friday morning.

Police say Bobby Davis, 48 of Rochester, told officers that he was walking home from the Rite-Aid on Monroe Avenue when  a dark colored sedan pulled up and three males got out, and started beating him.

During the encounter, Davis says one of the suspects stabbed him with a knife.

Davis also told officers that he walked around for three hours to ensure that the suspects were not following him, and eventually made his way to Highland Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
