Eastman alumni honored at Grammys

Los Angeles -- Five Eastman School of Music graduates are among this years Grammy Award winners.

Bob Ludwig, a mastering engineer, won Album of the Year and Best Engineered Album for his work on Daft Punks Random Access Memories. He also won Record of the Year for Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Pharell Williams, as well as Best Historical Album.

Martha Culver and Eric Dudley, members of the group Roomful of Teeth, won for Best Chamber Music Small Ensemble Performance.

Maria Schneider won Best Contemporary Classical Composition for her song Winter Morning Walks.

Kent Knappenberger earned the inaugural Music Educator Award.
