Jack Frost the pit bull going to foster home

Rochester, N.Y. - After being abandoned months ago, and spending less than a week in an animal shelter, Jack Frost is heading to a temporary home.

Last week, Jack Frost was dropped off at Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions. He was allegedly left in a home with no heat for months.

The dog suffered from hypothermia and starvation.

His owner is in prison and we believe he was in prison for two to three months and arranged for someone to care for the dog, said Debbie with Rescue Treasures. And obviously whoever was caring for him stopped at some point and left him there to starve and die."

Wednesday, we learned Jack Frost is heading home with one of the technicians who is going to foster him.

The animal hospital is very thankful to the community for donations and clothing.
