Several killed, injured in Egypt blasts

Cairo -- Five people are dead following at least three blasts in Egypts capital between Thursday night and Friday morning.

State television reported gunfire erupted immediately following the first blast near police headquarters in Cairo.

At least four people were killed and 50 others were injured.A second blast went off near the citys metro station about an hour later, killing one person.

Shortly after that, a third blast went off near a police station close to the Giza Pyramids.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes on the eve of the three-year anniversary of the uprising that ousted former president Hosni Mubarak.
