Report: Christie knew about bridge lane closings

New York - A new report counters what New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been saying about a scandal involving the George Washington Bridge.

The New York Times reports that a former Port Authority official who oversaw lane closings on the bridge said the governor knew about them -- and he had evidence to prove it.

Governor Christie has denied all along claims that he ordered the bridge closings as political payback for a mayor in the area that did not support his campaign.
