"Hustle" and "Slave" winners at Golden Globes
Los Angeles -- "American Hustle" charmed its way to become the big winner at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards.
The caper film won awards for best comedy or musical. Stars Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence also won awards for best leading and supporting actresses.
Leonardo DiCaprio won the award for best actor in a comedy for his role in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street."
Awards were a little more spread out in the drama category. The historical epic "12 Years a Slave" won the award for the years best drama, but Matthew McConaughey won the best actor trophy for Dallas Buyers Club and Cate Blanchett won best actress for Woody Allen's "Blue Jasmine."
Alfonso Cuaron was named the years best director for his sci-fi thriller "Gravity."
In television, police comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" beat out hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" and last years winner, "Girls," to be named this years best comedy show. "Brooklyn" star Andy Samberg also picked up an award for best actor.
Meanwhile, in the drama category, "Breaking Bad" continued its recent run of award wins, claiming the best drama trophy. Star Bryan Cranston was also named best actor for a drama series.
