RPO closing budget gap

Rochester, N.Y. -- The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra said it's making progress toward closing its budget gap.

The RPO said in a release Wednesday it fell short by about $544,000 in the 2012-13 fiscal year.

The orchestra said it cut nearly $500,000 in losses through contract concessions from its musicians, but revenue was also down last season.
