RCSD proceeds with no confidence vote
Rochester, N.Y. The union representing principals and administrators in the Rochester City School District says its members decided to proceed with a no confidence vote against Superintendent Bolgen Vargas.
A no confidence vote is a vote which states that a person in a superior position is no longer deemed fit to hold that position.
Its the first time in the union's 34 year history it's held such a vote.
They say its because of poor strategic planning and communication from district leaders.
While admitting the district needs to improve, Vargas says the union is focused on creating friction among adults rather than solutions for the children.
