Alleged burglar returns to crime scene

Henrietta, N.Y. -- Monroe County sheriffs deputies were still processing the scene of a burglary when the suspect returned, bleeding and drunk.

Minutes before that, a witness said he saw someone break a window of Marketview Liquor and drive away in a silver Mustang.

Investigators say Andrew F. Freirich, 28, was intoxicated and bleeding when he returned to the liquor store in his Mustang while police were still on the scene.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in an ambulance.

He was arrested for third degree burglary, second -egree criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated and petit larceny.

He was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and sent to Monroe County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond.
