Man charged with wrong-way DWI on 390

Wayland, N.Y. - New York State troopers arrested a Geneseo man Wednesday on DWI charges after troopers caught him driving the wrong way on Interstate 390.

State police said around 4:30 p.m., troopers responded to several 911 calls regarding a vehicle driving southbound in northbound lanes on I-390 in Livingston County.

The vehicle was located in the Town of Wayland when the driver drove off the road and into the median.

Ragnar Kristl, 26, was arrested and charged wtih reckless endangerment, driving while intoxicated, and several other vehicle and traffic violations.

Kristl was arraigned in the Town of Cohocton Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail.
